Magic is like a woman. Performance is like make-up and a dress. Make-up just makes a woman look better, but it can never make a woman beautiful. If you are beautiful, you don't need make-up and a dress. What I'm saying is that on the TV special, if I didn't do the hand through the glass if I did something else, the show would not have succeeded like it did. Maybe people would say, "Wow, good magician. Funny. Cool'. But they would not stop in shock. The effect was strong to begin with. Personality is important, but only second in importance, not first. So if a magician wants to be a good one, select strong tricks. "
